this reason that we have constructed a comprehensive training program that is spread out over the course of several weeks so that you might absorb and apply what you have learned. Class size is kept small so that you may interact with each other, ask questions, and enjoy fellowship together.

Student Testimonies I just finished reading the first two modules and I am overcome with joy in the Holy Spirit for what He is speaking through Kelly! Praise Jesus! I feel the balanced, beautiful nature of the Lord coming through her words. This is almost more than I'd hoped for. Previous Student I wish I had taken this curriculum first before my grandchild's birth on 12-21. The last paragraph in Lesson 3 - module 3 is powerful. This classwork and reading is awesome. I love the way she blends the medical with the spiritual. I'm learning so much more than my previous training. I'm very thankful to be a part of this group. Previous student I continue to be blessed and awed at the wisdom from the Lord in your curriculum and in your book. I am reading, Christ Centered Childbirth and I just read the chapter, "It's a God thing". This was very exciting to me to see the correlations between stages of pregnancy, the Christian walk and the Feasts of Israel. Surely the Lord has His hand print on every aspect of our lives and in His mercy has shown us the way of Salvation for those who have eyes to see. Thank you again, for sharing these revelations with us. Your curriculum is outstanding, with a high caliber of excellence. The graphics are beautiful and very helpful. I am delighted that the Lord has allowed me to be a part of this at this time, and made this available through you. Previous student Testimonies from Summer 08 Class... Since I have recently entered the class I continually share with my husband how I am enjoying EVERY section of Class One because it is taught form the Christian perspective. Besides bible study, premarriage counseling and Sunday school I have never had a class taught from the Christan perspective. I have been a teacher, an administrative assistant, a business owner, and the list goes on but it is WONDERFUL being taught your craft from the Christian profession so that you are equipped to SPREAD/SHARE it with your community --what a blessing! This class ties in and reinforces EVERYTHING that I believe and am striving to be as a Doula. I really look forward to reading the new sections and rereading what I have read the day(s) before. I find myself siting up straight (Physical), (Mentally) my mind seems sharper and memory seems to really kick in (...my memory has not been as sharp after the birth of 4 babies!), (Spiritually) I feel my spirit > fill up with the each prayer, scripture, mission statement, (Emotionally) the interpersonal skills section was a salve to my birthing experiences and well as the foundations from which I choose to practice as a Doula! And to think this is just the beginning/Class 1, WOW! Current Student I like the definition: A Christ-centered childbirth is one that, regardless of what happens during the process, relies on Jesus Christ as the comfort and strength. As a result, all honor and praise are given duly to the Lord, Himself. Then, I like module 3 on communication. What is one of the most important points to me, is that "this is not our birth, and what God has planned for this mother may not be what we would like to have happen." Then the questions to ask ourselves to successful resolve a conflict. WE ask the Lord what he would do/say, and have the PARENTS ask the care givers. It was so good to read the class and the Christ Centered Childbirth book, I felt I wanted Jesus to draw me closer and closer to Him! He is so sweet. and IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL. Current Student
for the child before they are born. I love the focus not only on the parents, but on us - "the Christian professionals." Praying before conception, during pregnancy and during childbirth is an incredible witness as to what Christ can do for us and through us. I wish I had known all of this when I was having children. Of course, I prayed often, but I have come so far in my walk since my last son was born . In Module 2, I enjoyed how the systems of the body of Christ relate to us and how we each play a role and are part of a specific system. Module 3 leads us in diplomacy, negotiation and conflict, all of which are very important to remember as we move ahead in this process of becoming certified. The fruit of the Spirit was well defined in ways that I probably have never thought of, but will keep referring back to. Finishing this module, we looked at professionalism, judgement and freedom in Christ. All were excellent points and not to be taken lightly. We are the light for Christ and how we present ourselves of cast judgement on others is all that some may see of a Christian. We need to remain positive and not haughty and remember that we are always being watched. I want people to see the light of Christ in a positive manner, not "Oh, and she's a Christian!" Module 4 was very informative. I just hope I can retain all of the information that is going into my brain! I don't have a problem with comprehension, just retention! So much to learn, and I want to learn and be a knowledgeable doula, not just a "birth junky." Current Student |

| Here is a little information about the class structure. Your enrollment will be complete when we receive confirmation of payment. Once we receive that, we will add you to the class roster. The Saturday prior to the first day of class, we will create a Yahoo group for your specific class and send you an invitation to the group. Once you have accepted the invitation, you will be able to go into the group and will have access to the classes and quizzes. Classes will be distributed each Monday. You will have all week to review the information and then take a 10 question quiz on Friday. The quiz is open book, and is due on the following Monday. The purpose of the quiz is simply to establish that you read the material, and to give you some thought provoking questions. It is quite easy, but the amount of reading is doable, but has been challenging to those with full schedules. |
