My name is LeAnne, I am happily married to my wonderful husband
since 1997, we homeschool our 3 amazing children. I felt the calling
shortly after the birth of our 1st son and have been supporting families
as a doula ever since.
As a Christian I trust in birth, as a doula I believe that nurturing and
fostering the God-given abilities of the family empowers them for life.
I am a certified doula through DONA International and have completed
training as a Childbirth Educator through ICEA (International Childbirth Education Association). I have assisted a
local midwife at homebirths and have experience in many area hospitals.
I work closely with the family in the last months of pregnancy, throughout the birth and early postpartum period to
facilitate lasting positive memories. I also offer services to enhance the childbearing year such as private belly casting
(www.mamabellies.com) and breastfeeding support.
