After a horrible experience during her first child’s birth, Dawn
decided she would be more prepared for future childbearing.
She began to research pregnancy and childbirth. The more
she read, the more passionate she became about helping other
people make truly informed choices in prenatal care.
During her twelve-year marriage to Chris, a printer and future pastor,
Dawn has been pregnant eleven times and given birth to six children. Her many pregnancies have drawn her
closer to her husband and to Jesus. As well as helping her though labor and delivery, the lessons she has
learned have helped shape her into the person she is today.
Dawn home schools her six children; Ariella, 9; Shane, 8; Cedrick, 6; Nate, 4; Esther, 3; and Izabelle 1 and is
due to have her seventh in early October. She is also active in her local church.
